Tygra III is a hostile alien planet in the world of Journey to Foundation, Isaac Asimov's based VR game for PSVR2, Quest 2 and Pico3. As a Lead my goal was to translate the Level Design prototypes into modular organic environment, work closely with Concept Art to develop the Artistic vision and direction for this biome. For this mission I created the modular rock set that would cover the "wall" of the caves with 3 reusable assets and custom sculpted grounds, and two main materials blended together. My main focus was to make the environment look detailed enough but run as optimized as possible to benefit the performance of the game.
On this level I worked closely with Concept, Lighting and Technical artists, as well as Narrative, Gameplay and Level Design.
Deniz Giritli, talented Material and Environment Artist, helped me to finish the few remaining areas of the multiple locations of this planet.
